A UDL não foi além de um empate no confronto com os “canarinhos”. Estivemos em vantagem por duas vezes, mas não soubemos controlar as operações em campo e pagámos os erros defensivos bem caro. Ainda assim, os Ultras que acompanharam a equipa, em mais uma jornada, viram a melhor exibição da época. Esperamos todos que seja para continuar.
Foram cinco, os bravos que se deslocaram ao Estoril. Quando muitos já há muito que abandonaram o barco, há ainda aqueles que se recusam a desistir e que todos os fins-de-semana marcam presença onde quer que o Leiria jogue. É que por muita confusão que cause na mente dos que optaram pela saída mais fácil, há (e haverá sempre) aqueles que sentem o clube e a cidade, não como mais uma moda passageira ou porque os amigos estão lá, e que nunca virarão as costas a uma instituição que nos merece todos os sacrifícios que estamos dispostos a fazer.
O estádio do Estoril fica situado numa zona, essencialmente, residencial. Logo não há um único tasco nas imediações para a malta matar a sede convenientemente. A primeira incursão pelos arredores do estádio, resultaram apenas na descoberta de um café que primava pelo “sotaque” generalizado da clientela e pela boa música do tipo “tira o pé do chão”. Motivo mais que suficiente para darmos meia volta e procurar outro local para matar o tempo. Mesmo assim, ainda fomos bastante a tempo de constatar que a crise económica não afectou a população do Estoril, que ainda se pode dar ao luxo de pagar uma autêntica fortuna por um simples lanche.
Com o aproximar da hora do jogo, os Ultras dirigiram-se para o sector visitante. Nessa altura pudemos constatar que já não existe nenhum grupo organizado de apoio ao Estoril. O sector anteriormente ocupado pelos Estoril Supporters (Gruppo/Yellow Fury) estava completamente deserto.
Apesar de sermos poucos, cantámos sempre com força e garra. E que bem sabe quando temos a oportunidade de festejar dois golos, quando estamos em clara minoria no estádio. Na segunda parte já não se cantou tanto. Mas o que interessa é que os jogadores sentiram o apoio, sendo prova disso o facto de alguns terem premiado alguns camaradas com as suas camisolas.
